Preparations are underway for return of Leitrim's Fleadh Cheoil

Preparations are underway in Carrick-on-Shannon for this year's Leitrim Fleadh Cheoil.

The two day event will take place on April 23rd and 24th and is expected to attract thousands of people to the town.

Those wishing to compete at the Fleadh should contact their local Comhaltas branch before March 25th.

Alternatively, Fleadh Cheoil Leitrim will be taking entries at the Gaelscoil in Carrick-on-Shannon until 2pm today.
