A post mortem will take place later today on the body of a man who died after he was attacked with a samurai sword in County Cork.
Ian Baitson died at Cork University Hospital yesterday following the attack in Cobh on Friday night.
Armed gardaí carried out a search of a house in the town yesterday evening at around the same time it was announced the 32-year-old, father of one had died.
Gardaí say the results of today’s post mortem will determine the course of their investigation.
