There's been a positive response to proposed junction changes on a major Roscommon road. Roscommon County Council held a public consultation in Lecarrow yesterday to outline plans for the N61. The proposed works would include the closure of junctions close to St John's Cemetery. They would also see the addition of a right turning lane from Roscommon onto the L2004 road which links the N61 to Rahara. Local resident David Diffley welcomed the proposed changes but said mass-goers could be affected by the closure of junctions:
