Farmers and contractors will have one month to apply for the fuel support scheme, which will open to them next week.
They’ll be able to get around 20 cent per litre or 200 euro per 1 thousand litres of green diesel, based on their fuel usage from last year being verified.
There will be a minimum payment of 100 euro, while the max rate will be decided by the number of applications.
