Pogues singer Shane MacGowan to be laid to rest today

President Michael D Higgins and A-list movie star Johnny Depp are expected to among mourners at Shane MacGowan's funeral this morning. The Pogues frontman died last month at the age of 65.

Tributes have continued to pour in for the legendary singer-songwriter. A procession's taking place through Dublin this morning - before the funeral mass takes place in Nenagh, County Tipperary.
