Last month it was announced no high-risk mothers would be seen by their maternity services anymore.

A Ballinasloe mother, who had two high-risk pregnancies in Portiuncula University Hospital, says she'd be dead if it wasn't for the excellent care she got in the hospital.

Last month it was announced no high-risk mothers would be seen by their maternity services anymore.

It's after five reviews highlighted a number of concerns in the unit, including clinical care and infrastructure.
