The Elphin Windmill Committee are determined to restore the tourist attraction once again

The sails were torn off the 300-year-old structure last month.

It will cost over €200,000 to repair Elphin's historic windmill after damage during Storm Eowyn.

The sails were torn off the 300-year-old structure last month.

It was a massive blow to the area after the tourist attraction was restored around 30 years ago.

Our reporter Eoghan Murphy visited the windmill this morning and spoke to the committee that runs it.
