A leading businessman is calling for a revised public realm enhancement plan for Strokestown.
It's after ten Roscommon politicians wrote to Roscommon County Council to seek a new plan for Ballaghaderreen - after anger over the potential loss of 47 car-parking spaces.
A €8 million project is planned for Strokestown and it's currently at tender stage.
Frank Hanly, from Hanly's Eurospar in the town, says it would also lead to the loss of parking.
He spoke to our reporter Eoghan Murphy - and first spoke about the Ballaghaderreen situation.
