There are plans for 15 new houses to be developed in Longford Town. Longford County Council have put the details of the Part 8 planning application on their website. A Part 8 planning application means local councillors will decide whether to give the project the green light. The new houses would be developed at St. Rita's on the Park Road.
The council are now accepting submissions until July 14th. Fianna Fáil Councillor Seamus Butler has welcomed the plans:
