Plans lodged for Roscommon school upgrade works

Planning permission has been lodged for upgrades at a Roscommon primary school.

The Board of Management of St Coman's Wood Primary School are seeking ot build a single storey extension containing 2 SEN classrooms and one Mainstream Clasroom.

Also included in the application are additional car parking spaces and pedestrian footpaths, as well as retention permission for a temporary prefabricated classroom to the rear of the existing school.

This retention would last for five years or until the proposed extention is completed.

County planners will decide on the issue in March.
