There are plans for a new bridge over the railway line in Roscommon town - to encourage children to walk or cycle to school.
The concrete structure would link Convent Road to St Theresa's Road in Lisnamult.
Public consultation on the plan is taking place in Roscommon Library today from 3 o'clock to 7 o'clock.
