Plans for astro turf pitch at Leitrim school

There are plans for a new astro turf pitch to be developed at a Co. Leitrim primary school.

Newtowngore National School lodged a planning application for the development with Leitrim County Council this week.

The plans include a new all weather playing pitch with fencing and netting.

Leitrim County Planners are due to decide on the application in May.
