Plans are being discussed to enhance the safety and visibility of a popular park in Carrick-on-Shannon. Councillor Cormac Flynn says thick undergrowth at the park at Attifinlay is creating hidden areas where groups gather.
While there is no harm being caused by the groups but it's hoped the vegetation can be trimmed back to make the park more open and welcoming. Councillor Flynn says he was received a commitment for works to be completed:
