Planning permission is being sought for a major housing development in Mullingar.
Tiberville Ltd has applied to Westmeath County Council to construct 93 residential units on the Ardmore Road.
The development comprises 93 residential units and a childcare facility at Saunders Bridge on the Ardmore Road on a site of 4.48 hectares.
The proposed development will consist of 81 two-storey housing units, 5 three-bed mid terraced units, 54 three-bed semi-detached units, 22 four-bed semi-detached units, and 12 two-bed apartment units in a singular block.
The application also includes a creche facility, the formation of three vehicular access points off the established residential access road and associated residential road network and active travel route.
The proposal also comprises the development of 184 car parking spaces and 220 cycle parking spaces.
In addition, all associated hard and soft landscaping, boundary treatments, footpaths, ESB substation and all other ancillary works above and below ground are included.
Westmeath county planners have received the application and are due to make a decision by December.
