Planning permission has been lodged for a new luxury camping area in Longford. Peter Dillon has applied to Longford County Council to install 6 new glamping accommodation units at Dillon's Bar and Bistro in Ballinamuck. Also included in the application is the construction of camper and caravan bays, a new children's outdoor play area and onsite car parking.
The new installations would be located to the rear of the bar. County planners will decide on the plans in July.
