Planning permission is being sought for an extension to a primary school in Co. Longford.
St Columba's National School in Cloonagh, Dring, Co. Longford, has applied to county planners to develop an additional mainstream classroom at their premises.
The proposed single storey building would also consist of two ensuite toilets to the north of existing school buildings.
The submission also proposes the installation of a well connected to the existing school water supply, septic tank and percolation field, and landscaping.
County planners have received the application and are due to make a decision by September.
