Planning permission is being sought for an upgrade at the premises of a local data destruction service.
All-Star Shredding Limited, which is based in Castlerea, Co. Roscommon, is seeking approval for the change of use of its existing building.
The project would see it turned into a storage facility for medical device tools and for the collection, dismantling, and processing of disused computer components to be recycled.

The submission also includes alterations to the existing elevations of the building, as well as additional fire escape doors and signage.
The development of an office space to the front of the building is also pending approval.
County planners have received the application and are due to make a decision by the end of July.
