Planning lodged for expansion of Longford housing development

Planning permission is being sought for a significant expansion of a housing development in a well known Longford village.

Frank McKenna has submitted an application for the construction of 14 new homes at St. Patrick's Court, Shanmullagh in Ballinamuck.

Plans include the six 3 bed two storey semi detached homes and eight two bed two storey terraced dwellings.

The terraced homes would consist of 2 blocks of 4 units each.

Also included in the application is the proposed extension of an existing access road, green open space and proposed connections into the existing sewer serving St. Patrick's Court.

County planners will decide on the application in October.
