Planning permission has been approved for the retention of a telecommunications structure in Co. Longford.
Phoenix Tower Ireland III Limited had applied for planning permission to retain an existing 24m telecommunications support structure carrying antenna and dishes at Kilmore Lower, Cloondara.
It includes communications cabins and associated site works within a palisade fenced compound.
The application also sought permission to install additional antenna, dish equipment to the support structure, including ground equipment cabinets.
Longford county planners approved the application subject to 10 conditions.
