Planning granted for restoration of derelict Castlerea school building

Permission has been granted for the restoration of a derelict school building in Roscommon.

The development includes the change of use of Tully National School in Castlerea to a domestic dwelling house.

The installation of a waste water treatment unit and the formation of a new vehicular entrance to the site from the public road are also comprised in the project.

Roscommon County Council approved the construction with 16 conditions attached.
