Plans for a 72-room tourist hostel in Carrick-on-Shannon are being described as "very ambitious".
It would accommodate up to 244 guests, while three retail units would also be built.
A planning application has been sent to Leitrim County Council for the proposal, which relates to Flynn's Field in the town.
