Planning permission is being sought to redevelop the Lidl store in Roscommon Town.
The German supermarket giant submitted an application to county planners this week.
According to a planning statement by the developers, the replacement of a store on the Lanesboro Road site had already been accepted by the council under a previous application.
The company is proposing to demolish the existing foodstore and boundary wall at the north west of the site, and to build a replacement, single storey store.
It will also include an off-licence sales area, 101 parking spaces, and dedicated electric vehicle and cycle parking.
A trolley bay canopy and photovoltaic panels on the roof of the supermarket are also part of the application.
The company proposes to develop new pedestrian access points and a minor amendment to the kerbline of the current vehicle access layout.
The application has been received by Roscommon county planners and a decision is due by June 22nd.
