Roscommon County Board have been granted permission to conduct improvement works at Dr Hyde Park.
Plans submitted to county planners called for the construction of a pitch side covered viewing shelter for wheelchair users, a new toilet block for the Athlone Road terrace and new ticket booths and turnstiles.
The development also includes alterations to the front facade of the ground to enable more direct emergency access and proposed car & coach parking layout along the front of the existing dressing rooms.
