People across Leitrim, Longford and Roscommon are being invited to start conversations about mental health. The 'Hello, how are you?' campaign is calling on people to check in on loved ones and neighbours. This Mental Health Ireland campaign is now in its fifth year and takes place on May 15th.
Those living in the Shannonside region are being encouraged to host events marking the occasion. Emer McFadden is Mental Health Ireland's development officer for Sligo and Leitrim. She says it's about reducing the stigma around mental health:
