Pensioners who offer accommodation to a Ukrainian refugee won't have their welfare payments cut.
The living alone and fuel allowance would normally be reduced if someone allows another person to live with them.
The Irish Independent reports new regulations will be signed by the Social Protection Minister so pensioners won't be penalised.
