A pedestrian crossing has been installed in Ballinamore - without Leitrim County Council's permission. It was placed on the Lime Road, near Tesco - despite having no planning consent.

Local Fianna Fáil councillor Gary Prior raised the issue at a recent meeting of Ballinamore Municipal District. He says the council didn't install it:
