A peaceful protest will take place this Saturday against plans to house asylum seekers in Roscommon.
It comes following an application by Noel Whelan to accommodate those seeking International Protection in the town.
An Bord Pleanala is due to make a decision in August regarding Academy House on Goff Street.
A group called Roscommon Says No to IPAS has since been set up and will host a demonstration on Saturday.
The protest is due to take place at 2 o'clock at The Square in Roscommon.
