An 8 per cent increase was reported on the line Westport to Dublin which has stops in Castlerea, Roscommon and Athlone.
While Sligo to Dublin, which includes Boyle, Carrick, Dromod, Longford and Edgeworthstown recorded a 7 per cent increase.
