Parents at a Co. Roscommon national school say there are serious safety concerns in the area where motorists are travelling above the speed limit.
Earlier this week, Gardaí on patrol in Cloontuskert Village detected a HGV travelling close to double the speed limit past the local national school.
The lorry was clocked travelling at 91 kilometres per hour on the R371 and subsequently issued with a fixed notice fine and penalty points on their license.
