Overcrowding continues at local hospital

The INMO's latest trolley watch report has been published

Overcrowding continues to impact a number of local hospitals.

According to the INMO's latest trolley watch report, there were 56 patients waiting for a bed at Sligo University Hospital this morning.

This is the fourth highest in the country.

Elsewhere, there were 13 at Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe and in Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar there were 2.

Nationally, University Hospital Limerick remains the most overcrowded hospital with 87.
