Over half of the requests for humanitarian help in the Shannonside region after Storm Éowyn have not been paid.
Almost 9,000 claims from people in Roscommon, Longford and Leitrim have not been paid.
The Humanitarian Assistance Scheme was activated on January 23rd to help householders affected by Storm Éowyn.
Figures from Social Protection Minister Dara Calleary show almost 1.9 million euro has been paid to over 7,300 people in the Shannonside region - but just under 9,000 have not received a payment.
In Roscommon, 7,299 claims were registered - but only 3,097 have been paid.
In Leitrim, there were 3,825 claims - but only 1,952 have been paid.
And in Longford there were 5,148 claims - but only 2,272 have been paid.
The figures cover the period until eight days ago.
Minister Calleary says the total number of disallowed claims will not be known until all requests for review are completed.
