Over 7 million euro has been allocated to local authorities under the community services programme in 2025.
The figures come following a parliamentary question from Clare Deputy Cathal Crowe to Minister of State at the Department of Rural and Community Development, Jerry Buttimer.
The Community Services Programme (CSP) supports community-based organisations to provide local services and create jobs for people who may face barriers to work.
It gives financial support to not-for-profit community companies and co-operatives to help with the cost of hiring staff.
It is managed by Pobal on behalf of the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht.
In total, just over 7,4 million was allocated across Longford, Leitrim, Roscommon, Cavan and Monaghan.
Roscommon sees the largest amount with 3 million euro, followed by 1.7 million euro in Leitrim.
There was 1.6 million euro in Monaghan.
Longford and Cavan the smallest number of recipients locally with 666 thousand and 379 thousand respectively.
