Over €400,000 worth of funding is on the way to community organisations in the Shannonside region. Minister for Rural and Community Development Dara Calleary announced the successful projects today under the Local Enhancement Programme 2026.
Community Organisations in Roscommon have been allocated around €154,000, with €152,000 on the way to Longford and €119,000 going to Leitrim. Fianna Fáil Councillor Sean Moylan says it's a boost for local communities:
