County Councils in the Shannonside region spent just over €4,000 on maintenance of local authority houses in 2024.
That's according to the latest Local Authority Performance Indicator Report by the National Oversight and Audit Commission.
Longford paid the highest amount at just over €1,500, that's followed by Leitrim with over €1,400 and €1,200 in Roscommon.
Counties Longford and Roscommon, meanwhile, were both below the national average in terms of percentage of total vacant council-owned houses in 2024.
2.69 per cent were vacant in Longford and 2.09 per cent were vacant in Roscommon.
Leitrim's figure of 2.78 per cent, however, was above the national average of 2.7 per cent.
