Over 14 million euro is to be allocated to farmers in the Shannonside region under the 2025 Eco-Scheme.
Earlier this week, the Minister for Agriculture, Martin Heydon confirmed the details.
Farmers are to be rewarded for undertaking actions beneficial to the climate, environment, water quality and biodiversity.
Among these include just over three thousand farmers in Leitrim, two thousand in Longford, while Roscommon will see over five thousand recipients.
