Over 70 Carer's Allowance recipients will receive an increase from today. The announcement was made by the Minister for Social Protection, Dara Calleary. Among the measures, the income disregard for a single carer will increase to one thousand euro.
The income disregard for a couple will increase to two thousand euro while the income limit for carer's benefit will increase to 1 thousand euro. 44 will benefit in Roscommon, 19 in Longford and in Leitrim, there will be 10.
