Over 560 houses across region received planning permission last year

Over 560 housing units across the Shannonside region received planning permission last year.
This includes, 185 in Co. Longford, 132 in Co. Leitrim, and 221 in Co. Roscommon.

Of these, 70 were apartments.
The figures from the CSO show there's been a 7.9 per cent increase in permissions granted nationally.
