Over 50 patients waiting for a bed at local hospitals today

There were over 50 admitted patients waiting for a bed at local hospitals this morning. That's according to the INMO's latest trolley watch report. Thursday's figures show there were 49 patients waiting in Sligo University Hospital.

This included 29 in the emergency department and 20 on wards elsewhere. While there were 5 patients waiting in the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar.
