Over 50 patients waiting for a bed at local hospitals

There were over 50 patients waiting for a bed in hospitals serving the Shannonside region.

That's according to the INMO's latest trolley watch report.

Figures show there there were 51 waiting at Sligo University Hospital, the third highest in the country.

While in the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar, 3 patients were waiting.

University Hospital Limerick continues to be the country's hospital with 109 recorded patients this morning.
