Over 50 houses and apartments were granted planning permission in the first 3 months of the year in the Shannonside region
According to figures from the Department of Housing, Roscommon had the most planning permission granted at 25.
All of those were one-off homes.

Leitrim had a total of 15 developments granted permission, with 12 of those being one-off houses, 2 as part of a multi-development, and 1 apartment.
Longford had the least amount granted at 13 made up of 9 one off-off homes, 3 multi-development homes, and 1 apartment.
It brings the total number to 53 permissions granted, up from 48 in the last quarter of 2022
