Over 300 waiting more than two years for a bed at local hospital

It's emerged that there are over 3,000 patients waiting for scheduled care at Sligo University Hospital.

The inpatient and day-case waiting list at Sligo University Hospital has reached 3,017 patients, according to The National Treatment Purchase Fund.

Figures collected on October 30th, show that among those waiting include 185 children.
