Over 300 attend reinterment of Liam Farrell

A guard of honour was formed at Bornacoola this morning as a mark of respect and support for the family.

Over 300 people gathered at Cloonmorris Cemetery in county Leitrim this morning for the reinternment of the remains of Liam Farrell.

Mr Farrell passed away in suspicious circumstances in Rooskey in January 2020.

The late Mr Farrell's remains were exhumed from Cloonmorris Cemetery on April 10th as part of a cold-case investigation.

This was ordered by the Minister for Justice with Chief State Pathologist Professor Linda Mulligan conducting a new post-mortem examination.
