A Hospital in the Shannonside region remains very busy today with over thirty people waiting at its ED.
According to the INMO's Trolleywatch, 19 people are on trolleys and 12 are in wards at Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe.
The figures come just a day after a warning was issued to the public by hospital management that the Ballinasloe hospital was under significant pressure with high attendances and long waiting times.
The hospital also confirmed on Sunday that all available beds are in use. Every effort is being made to discharge patients who are ready to go home so that beds will become available for patients who need to be admitted, at the earliest opportunity
Elsewhere, 23 people are at Sligo University hospital's ED and 18 at the ED in Mullingar.
