Over 2,100 performers are set to take part in the provincial finals in the Connacht Fleadh in Strokestown over the next three days.
The official opening takes place in Strokestown Park House at 7pm this evening.
There are dancing, music, singing and storytelling competitions on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, ranging from Under-12s to adults.
