Over 48,000 patients went to the hospital's ED in 2025 - and 4 per cent did not wait to finish their treatment.

Over 1,900 people left Sligo's emergency department last year without finishing their treatment.

Over 48,000 patients went to the hospital's ED in 2025 - and 4 per cent did not wait to finish their treatment.

The national average in HSE hospitals was 6.6 per cent.
