Over 140 people across the Shannonside region are homeless. The figure is part of a national record rise of homeless people since March and includes over 4,600 children and over 2,000 families. County Westmeath holds the highest number of people accessing emergency accommodation in the region, at 86. This is followed by 22 in County Longford, 20 in County Leitrim, and 15 in County Roscommon.
