Over 120 adults across the Shannonside region were living in emergency accommodation in April.
The figure was revealed in the Department of Housing's monthly report.
The report shows 123 adults across the Shannonside region were accessing emergency accommodation last month.

This includes 63 across Co. Westmeath, 23 in Co. Longford, 18 in Co. Roscommon, and 19 in Co. Leitrim.
Nationally, a total of 17,548 people were homeless - 5,604 of these were children.
