18 people are under medical supervision at Sligo University hospital, with 9 in Tullamore hospital, eight in Cavan, 7 in Mullingar and six at Portiuncula hospital in Ballinasloe.
1,866 new cases have been detected in the Republic, with 314 covid patients in hospital, including 61 in ICU.
