Outrage in north Roscommon as plans lodged for 'monstrous' wind turbines

The planned farm would consist of six wind turbines and be mainly based in Ballyfeeney, which is located between Scramogue and Kilglass.

Controversial plans have been lodged for a wind farm in north Roscommon.

The planned farm would consist of six wind turbines and be mainly based in Ballyfeeney, which is located between Scramogue and Kilglass.

The plans were received on Monday and a decision is to be made by Roscommon County Council November 9th.

Secretary of the Ballyfeeney Action Group, Rory Doyle, has acknowledged public concerns over the plans, which have been lodged by Ballyfeeny Green Energy Limited.
