The outgoing Cathaoirleach of Longford Municipal District chaired her final meeting yesterday ahead of the AGM.
It's expected Fianna Fáil councillor Uruemu Adejinmi will be replaced by Kevin Hussey at the end of this month.
She paid tribute to her colleagues for their support at yesterday's meeting.
It was her second term as Cathaoirleach and she said the sale of the landmark Providers building was a full circle moment.
